Environmental Zone for continued scenic protection.

Mosman Council has received permission from the NSW Planning Dept to consult the community about an Environmental Zone (E4). If approved, the E4 zone will allow scenic protection to continue.

The only properties affected are those zoned R2 AND are ALSO already in the Scenic Protection Area. Nothing changes except the zone name, but scenic protection will continue.

You have until November 10 to respond to the proposal.

Mosman Parks and Bushland supports the introduction of an E4 zone. If approved, it will provide certainty and clarity about development within the current scenic protection area. We encourage you to look at the proposal and to provide feedback to council.
